An English two-decker in light airs

Viewed from slightly before the port beam, a ship before a very light breeze with her main topsail and topgallant filled, but her fore yards braced round without any wind in the sails.

This is a pencil and wash drawing by the Younger, with the false signature ‘W V V’.
