A dismasted Dutch ship and a galjoot in a heavy sea
Viewed from abaft the starboard beam, a ship with the wind on the port quarter pitching in a sea. Her foremast has carried away below the hounds, her main topmast is struck and she has only a main course and main staysail set. On the left, half hidden by a wave, there is a galjoot before the wind. Two other ships are in the distance.
