The head of a Dutch yacht

The head and starboard side, of a yacht; the figurehead is a merlion holding a sword in the right paw and supporting a small shield with the left. Close abaft the lion a cherub riding on a dolphin; and abaft that, a hawsehole decorated with a dolphin and figure.

This is a pencil and brown ink drawing by the Younger, signed in brown ink ‘W.V.VJ.’ It is inscribed ‘17 w 9.’
