An English flagship scudding in a gale
This is possibly a copy as there is a better version in the collection (PAF6666), although Robinson does not say whether this may be by van de Velde or another member of the studio. It depicts a starboard view of a three-decker with a Union flag at the mainmast pitching in a heavy sea. There are two other ships in the background. The drawing is unsigned.
