A small ship at anchor
Robinson considers that this drawing is ‘probably’ by van de Velde the Younger. However, it may have been drawn over by a later hand which ‘throws some doubt on the whole drawing’. The vessel is a small one without a head at anchor. She is viewed from close on the starboard bow. The fore and main courses are loosed in the brails. The drawing is unsigned.
