Etching of two vessels: stern view of the two-masted, square-rigged t'Geele Fortune (The Golden Fortune), merchant ship, sailing eastwards on the right of the image; and starboard side view of the three-masted, square-rigged De Liefde (The Charity) sailing northwards. De Liefde is towing a small tender and people are visible on the deck. t'Geele Fortuyn has open gun ports and visible cannons. Both vessels are flying unidentified flags from their mast heads. Coastline is visible on the horizon, along with two other vessels. This image is a reverse print of catalogue number PAF7155 with minor differences, such as no birds on the horizon.
