Hour-glass
A 60-minute glass, one half of which is divided into four 15-minute ampoules. It is filled with a white substance that is possibly ground eggshell. The central joint is made from cloth bound over with gold wire. It has a hexagonal brass stand with six wire supports. Where the glass touches the stand, there is an ornate brass surround pierced with round holes. The base plates are decorated with pierced shapes. The design of the stand is similar to AST0052, AST0053, AST0054, AST0055, AST0072 and AST0075.
