Hour-glass

A six-fold glass, with two 60-minute, two 30-minute, and two 20-minute glasses. The glasses are arranged in a row as follows: the two glasses on the ends of the row run for 60 minutes each, the glasses second from the right and second from the left run for 30 minutes each, and the middle pair run for 20 minutes each. The filling is ground black marble. The joints are made of cloth bound over with gold wire. The stand is made from wood with gilt decoration and has a star of David on each base. There are two supports (two are missing). The supports are made of turned wood, also gilded. There are sheets of flat glass encasing the back and front. Part of the case is broken, and a fragment is preserved in a plastic bag.
