Hour-glass
A 15-minute glass filled with a white material, possibly ground eggshell. The centre joint is bound over with twine. The stand is made from silver and has square bases, each topped with a rounded dome which encloses the base of the bulbs and is engraved with a flower. The bases are decorated with a frilled design around the edge, imitating a canopy. There are four supports. The supports have one rounded side and one flat side.
