Hour-glass

A two-fold glass with 30- and 60-minute glasses. It is filled with a white substance that is possibly ground eggshell. The centre joints are bound over with twine. The brass stand has ten wire supports. Where the glass touches the stand, there is an ornate brass surround. The bases are engraved with a foliate design. The design of the stand is similar to AST0052, AST0053, AST054, AST0055, AST0056, and AST0075.
