Hour-glass
A 30-minute glass with a white filling which is probably ground eggshell. The central joint is bound over with leather and twine. The stand is made from ebony. It has circular bases decorated with concentric rings, and has six turned pillar-shaped supports. The bases are decorated with 24 ivory pegs, which are attached to the overside and underside of the base between the supports, so that it looks as if there are six pegs transpiercing each base between the supports.
