Hour-glass
A 60-minute glass with a yellow sand filling. The ampoules are blown in one piece, and may have been made later than the stand. The stand is made from ivory. It has circular bases which are densely carved. There are three turned supports which unscrew in sections; at the points where they unscrew, there are ebony joints. The supports are topped with a ball on both ends.
