For use with Little Bear not Great Bear. Shaped handle. Date scale has named months divided and subdivided to 2 days. Meridian transit (lowest point) at 28 October.
Rotatable disc has longer pointer at 12. Hour scale numbered anticlockwise. Pointer has engraved lines round the edges. Reverse is plain.
