Poliarnaia Zvezda (1890)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant port bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Russian imperial yacht Poliarnaia Zvezda (1890) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Her boats are swung out and one of her boats is working between her bow and the mooring buoy. Tilbury is in the background. the name of this vessel means Polar Star and it can also be transliterated as Polyarnaya Zvezda.
