Rainha De Portugal (1875)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from only just abaft the beam, of the Portuguese Navy colonial sloop Rainha de Portugal (1875) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is barque rigged. She has been built by Thames Iron Works and Shipbuilding Company at Blackwall and is preparing to sail on her delivery voyage to Portugal. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G2055 and G2085 were taken on the same occasion.
