A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the United states Navy sloop Wyoming (1859) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Her funnel is lowered and she has a three masted ship rig with three yards on each mast. One of her cutters is alongside amidships. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background.
