Agamemnon (1855)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from just abaft the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Agamemnon (1855) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails on the fore and main, single topsail of the mizzen, single topgallants and royals. She has painted ports anmd is flying Green's houseflag. The Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV 28 (1847) is on the Tilbury shore in the background. Negatives numbers G1565 and G1798 were taken on the same occasion.
