Alnwick Castle (1856)

A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Alnwick Castle (1856) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and royals and has stunsail yards on the fore course yard. She has painted ports and is flying the blue peter and Green's Blackwall Line houseflag. Tilbury is in the background.
