A Priest Beneath a Canopy, with Three Servers
One of a series of studies which Wyllie made at Ambleteuse in 1875 for his painting ‘Blessing the Sea’ which was exhibited at the Royal Academy the following year, and in Paris in 1878. The painting is now in the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.
