Sailing ships at anchor off the coast of Holland (unfinished)
An unfinished oil sketch by William Lionel Wyllie. It shows two large sailing ships anchored off the coast of Holland. A windmill can be seen in the background and what appears to be a steeple can be seen to the right of the second ship. A town can be seen alongside the two ships. The ship on the right appears to be reflected in the water. There is a blue mark on the top of the left hand ship. A small grey mark can be seen in the bottom right of the sketch.
