Blue Jacket (1854)

A whole plate negative. A copy negative of an unsigned and dated painting of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Blue Jacket (1854) under full sail in choppy seas. She is seen from just ahead of her starboard beam and has double topsails on the fore and main, single topsail on the mizzen, single topgallants and royals. Her main course is shortened, her mizzen course is part furled and her royals are spilling the wind. She is on charter to White Star and is flying their house flag.
