Fishing boat off a headland

An oil sketch drawn by William Lionel Wyllie. It depicts a fishing boat with four sails. The body of the vessel is dark brown. The headland is depicted to the right of the ship and is pale grey, indicating that it is further in the distance. Grey clouds have been depicted with loose brushstrokes in a white sky. The sea seems calm and is bluish green in colour. There appears to be some damage to the sketch resulting in several white patches on the sea.
