Clyde (1860)

A whole plate negative. A port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Clyde (1860) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and royals and has painted ports. Windsail ventilators are rigged and an awning is rigged over the deck between the main and mizzen masts. A swim headed stumpy spritsail barge is alongside amidships. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1569 and G2266 were taken on the same occasion.
