She has painted ports and is rigged with double topsails, double topgallants on the fore and main masts, a single topgallant on the mizzen mast and single royals. She is loaded down to her marks. The passenger ferry Thames (1868) is dried out on the Tilbury shore in the left background and the Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV.28 (1847) is in the right background.
