Mignonette blooms
A watercolour study by William Lionel Wyllie. Three mignonette blooms are depicted. The flowering region of each plant is conical in shape, and features light red, pale pink and yellow-hued blossoms. Numerous light brown water marks are visible across the surface of the drawing, most notably in the upper right region. A faint green mark is also visible on the edge of the work.
