Earl of Zetland (1875)

A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged passenger/cargo vessel Earl of Zetland (1875) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and single royals. she has painted ports and windsails are rigged for ventilation. A number of passengers are gathered on deck aft. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1538 and G1555 were taken on the same day but at different states of the tide.
