Ellora (1855)

A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted barque Ellora (1855) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and royals and has painted ports. Her fore and main yards are hauled round to starboard. She is flying a pilot flag from the spanker signal haliards. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G2217 and G2305 were taken on the same occasion.
