A Dutch ship before the wind with a galjoot drifting

A starboard-bow view of a Dutch two-decker before the wind under fore course and topsails, with other ships in the distance. Lightly sketched in the foreground is a starboard-quarter view of a galjoot with her mainsail brailed up and her topsail hanging loose.

This work is one of a group of nine drawings (PAD0704, PAD0705,
PAD0706, PAF6777, PAF6778, PAF6779, PAF6780, PAF6781, PAF6782) which, by subject and watermark, probably relate to de Ruyter's voyage to Bergen in autumn 1665.
