Forfarshire (1885)
A whole plate negative. A port broadside view of the 3 masted barque rigged vessel Forfarshire (1885) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, double topgallants and royals on her fore and main masts and has painted ports. The paintwork at the waterline is rough. The Tilbury ferry Sir Walter Raleigh (1855) is at the water's edge on the Tilbury shore in the background.
