Hampshire (1870)

A whole plate negative. A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Hampshire (1870) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and no royals. She has painted ports and is flying the blue peter and her Money Wigram houseflag. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background. Negatives numbers G1522 and G2016 were taken on the same occasion.
