Hawkesbury (1868)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Hawkesbury (1868) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and royals, has an awning rigged just ahead of the mizzen mast and is flying the blue peter. She has painted ports. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1786 and G1799 were taken on the same occasion.
