Hurunui (1875)

A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Hurunui (1875) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and a main royal. She has painted ports and Tilbury is in the background. The horizon is not level. The ship is preparing for her maiden voyage to New Zealand. Negatives numbers G1589 and G1801 were taken on the same occasion.
