Ivanhoe (1868)
A whole plate negative. A starboard near broadside view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted barque rigged vessel Ivanhoe (1868) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, double topgallants and royals on her fore and main masts. She has painted ports and is flying the blue peter. Tilbury is in the background. The original negative has peeled off and been discarded. A safety sheet film negative has been produced from a 12x10 photographic print made from the original negative in the 1950s.
