Print from 'Views of the principal Seats, and Marine and Landscape Scenery in the vicinity of Lymington, Hants, from original Pictures taken on the spot by J. M. Gilbert, Marine Painter’. This was a part publication originally issued by R. A. Grove of Lymington (see PAD1106) in 1832 but of which there appear to be 1838 reissue images, of which this is probably an example. Unusually it is inscribed as being lithographed by Haghe on zinc rather than stone, but how many others in the set were done this way is not yet certain.
