Loch Broom (1885)
A 12x10 negative. A photograph of a souvenir imitation lifebelt on which is painted the name Loch Broom at the top and the port of registry Glasgow at the bottom. On the left side is a red ensign and on the right is the houseflag of the General Shipping Co. In the centre of the lifering is a painting of the vessel under full sail at sea when rigged as a barque. She is shown from off her port beam and has painted ports. The lifering is suspended from a thin braided line that is fixed round the circumference.
