Melbourne (1875)
A whole plate negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Melbourne (1875) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topgallant yards on each of her fore and main masts and only a single topgallant on her mizzen. Tilbury Fort Watergate is in the background. Negative number G2237 was taken on the same occasion.
