Nelson (1874)

A 12x10 negative. A port very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged general cargo sailing vessel Nelson (1874) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has painted ports and is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and single royals. She is loaded down to her marks. Tilbury Fort gatehouse is in the right background and the Coast Guard Watch Vessel CGWV.28 (1847) is drawn up on shore in the left background.
