Northern Light (1873)
A whole plate negative. A copy of an unsigned drawing, probably pencil and charcoal, depicting a starboard near broadside view from just ahead of the beam of the American 3 masted ship rigged clipper Northern Light (1873) under shortened sail at sea. Her fore topmast staysail, fore course, fore lower topsail, main upper and lower topsails, mizzen lower topsail and spanker are set. There is no inscription other than the name of the ship at the botom of the negative.
