Otago (1869)
A whole plate negative. A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Otago (1869) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and royals and is drying sails in very calm conditions. She has a small awning rigged just ahead of her mizzen mast and canvas windsail ventilators are rigged. A large number of passengers are on board. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1780 and G2334 were taken on the same occasion.
