A whole plate negative. A fair quality distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged general cargo sailing vessel Patriarch (1869) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. Her fore and main topgallant yards have been doubled and she has pole topmasts and telescopic topgallant masts. Tilbury is in the background.
