A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard broadside view of the 3 masted ship rigged general cargo sailing vessel Patriarch (1869) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames bound down. She is as built with double topsails, single topgallants and single royals. She has pole topmasts and telescopic topgallant masts. Her starboard side poop lifeboat is missing from its davits. She is flying George Thompson's White Star Line house flag. Tilbury is in the background.
