Ramsey (1863)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Ramsey (1863) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgalants and single royals. Her iron hull has a straight sloping stem rather than the more usual clipper style. A stumpy spritsail barge is alongside her port side amidships. Tilbury Ferry pontoon and railway station are in the background. There is some image movement.
