Rodney (1874)
A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port broadside view of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Rodney (1874) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and royals. Crewmen are working on the foremast rigging. She is flying the blue peter and has a black painted hull. Tilbury Ferry pontoon and railway station are in the background. Negatives numbers G1580 and G2301 were taken on the same occasion.
