Star of India (1861)

A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Star of India (1861) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and royals and has a small awning rigged ahead of the mizzen mast. She has a canvas dodger on her accommodation ladder and washing is drying in various locations. Tilbury is in the background.
