Swiftsure (1854)

A whole plate negative. A slightly distant port side view, taken from well abaft the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Swiftsure (1854) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails on the fore and main masts, single topsail on the mizzen, single topgallants and royals. She is flying Green's Blackwall Line houseflag and two paddle tugs are alongside her starboard quarter. A small spritsail rigged boat is alongside her port side amidships. Tilbury Fort is in the background.
