Talavera (1882)
A 12x10 negative. A slightly distant starboard very near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the 4 masted barque rigged general cargo sailing vessel Talavera (1882) at moorings in Gravesend Reach or Northfleet Hope, River Thames. She has painted ports and is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and single royals. She is loaded to her marks. She has the Clutha Shipping Co house flag at her mainmast but the flag at her mizzen has not been recognised. Tilbury is in the background.
