A 12x10 negative. A starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged general cargo sailing vessel Thessalus (1874) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She has painted ports and is loaded down to her marks. She is rigged with double topsails and double topgallants. No royals or skysails are carried. Tilbury is in the background.
