Young Australia (1852)

A whole plate negative. A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the 3 masted ship rigged vessel Young Australia (1852) at moorings in Gravesend Reach, River Thames. She is rigged with double topsails, single topgallants and single royals. A piece of canvas hanging on the main topgallant stay has been touched out on the negative. Tilbury is in the background. Negatives numbers G1524 and G1529 were taken on the same occasion.
