Alarm (1898)
A half plate negative. A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the spritsail barge Alarm (1898) under sail in the Thames estuary during the Medway Barge Match. She is on the port tack and her racing flag is attached to her forestay. Her starboard leeboard is raised. A paddle steamer is in the background.
