Ardeer (1895)
A 12x10 negative. A port near broadside view, taken from abaft the beam, of the spritsail rigged general cargo sailing barge Ardeer (1895) under sail in the Thames Estuary during the Thames Barge Match. She is on the port tack with her lee board raised and her crew are in white trousers. She has the race number 8 flag on her forestay. The tip of her mast is just out of the picture.
